Make it Personal: Bridesmaid Proposal Boxes
Hello lovelies!! Welcome to wedding planning central! As promised, I'll be writing some wedding related posts for all my current and future brides out there! This one in particular I'm really excited about and have been so anxious to share with you all!! So, without further ado, lets talk bridesmaid proposals.
First things first, yes, it's a real thing! These are the women you are asking to stand by your side on one of the biggest, most memorable days of your life! With that said, as I was doing my own research, I started to notice two different trends to choose from: boxes full of throw away fluff that is fun but not very practical past that ask moment {enter glittery "Maid of Honor" sunglasses here} OR pricey, pre-selected boxes that you simply mail to an address. Though this may be a great option for the not so detail oriented bride or those of you who are planning a wedding in a short amount of time, I personally felt that I wanted to make my bridesmaid boxes far more personal than the options that were out there!
I made it my goal to curate a box that was fun but also thoughtful and personal so I reached out to one of my FAVORITE jewelry companies GLDN by Layered + Long. I have been wearing their jewelry for years and when I got on their site, I found the most perfect necklace to get my girls for their boxes!! Dainty, elegant, personalized, and classic. The perfect gift to send to the girls as well as a lasting memory of the fun little journey the seven of us are about to go on together. {Because of course I had to get one for myself as well!} They also gift wrapped and included personalized notes in every one which was such a sweet touch!!
Next I thought about the day, what I could include that could be used by all the girls for the bachelorette, the wedding day, and after. I found the CUTEST personalized insulated wine tumblers on Etsy that come with lids that can be used with a straw...perfect for not messing up your day of makeup!! I threw in some glittery plastic straws my mom found at Target and a mini bottle of Rose' to get the celebration started!
Of course I wanted some fun in there too so I included sheet masks and champagne gummy bears from Sugarfina! Together it was simple, elegant, and fun and the girls LOVED them!! It really made the time and energy I spent on each detail SO worth it and this was one detail I had a blast working on from start to finish!
Everything included in my bridesmaid boxes:
GLDN Yue Initial Necklace c/o- single initials for my girls, mine has an L and a B
Personalized Swig Wine Tumblers- perfect for mimosas while getting ready or drinks poolside at the bachelorette!
Sequra Viudas Rose' - bubbles are always a good idea
Plastic Glitter Straws- glitter duh! Plus they're a little more durable than the paper ones
Sugarfina Champagne Gummy Bears- one of my ultimo faves!
Rifle Paper Co. Cards- the prettiest cards that lets you write a personal notes to each of your girls!!
Flora.py Sheet Masks- I found a box of 8 and used the two leftovers! They are fab!!
Target Gift Boxes- I loved these sturdy boxes! I did pink for the bridesmaids and white for the MOH's
Thank you to GLDN for sponsoring this post!
