Amazon Fashion Haul
Tomorrow kicks off Amazons Prime Day sale so I'm sharing all of my recent Amazon Fashion finds with you all so you can shop them tomorrow as part of the sale if you're a prime member! I'm going to break down each piece, what I like, what I don't like, and ultimately, what I ended up keeping!! I don't know about you guys, but I have been SO impressed by so many of the Amazon styles I've been seeing on social media and amongst friends! If you're willing to do a little bit of digging, there are some real treasures to be found and at unbeatable prices. I've done all the scrolling for you to bring you some of my personal favorite finds. You can shop everything at the bottom of this post!!
Floral Drawstring Skirt:
I've seen this skirt on so many friends recently that I had to have it! It comes in a number of prints but of course this blush floral one was right up my alley. It fits true to size (I'm wearing a small for reference) and is a lightweight but not see-through material! The drawstring is only sewn on and is not functional but the elastic waistband has plenty of stretch and fits comfortably!! Pairs perfect with a white tee and your favorite sneakers for errands or a pair of block heels for girls night!!
Red Button Front Skirt & Waffle Knit Tank:
I so badly wanted to love this skirt, I have a few that are VERY similar in design but for me, the execution wasn't quite up to par on this one. It's lined and made of a comfortable material. It also has function pockets however, for me personally, I feel that the location of the pockets made me look wider at the hips than I normally am: desired results? I think not. The buttons and tie at the waste are both functional and I think this skirt could look amazing on someone who is more narrow at the hips!
The tank top wasn't my favorite, it's a bit wider at the shoulders so I felt a little bit smothered as I'm more narrow on top than I am on the bottom. I liked the material and the buttons are functional which helps in styling it different ways. Both of these styles are being returned.
Yellow Polka Dot Midi Skirt:
This was the other no-go item for me. The fit looks very different online than in person. I love a great micropleated midi however this one hugged me in all the wrong places. The top layer of fabric is too heavy causing the skirt to lay awkwardly on the body. The skirt does have functional pockets but is made poorly in my opinion. This one was a hard no for me.
Navy Boho Midi Skirt:
I was a little weary of the print on this skirt but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this light and airy midi! The colors are so fun and the drawstring at the wasteland is functional helping provide the perfect fit!!
Pink Sundress with Shoulder Ties:
I love this adorable little boxy sundress! The functional shoulder ties are such a sweet touch and the material and color are both so good. This is the perfect "throw on and go" dress but would also be perfect for a beach or pool day! I'm still undecided on whether or not to hold onto this little number.
Yellow Striped Sundress:
I loved the look of this sundress online but frankly when it arrived I could tell it was mass produced and poorly made. It is lined however the shoulders have an awkward fit and the tie at the waste is not attached nor does the dress include belt loops. This one will be returned as well.
Fitted Floral Mini Dress:
I LOVE this little dress and so does B! The tied spaghetti straps are functional so the strap length can be altered to your best fit and the dress fits in all the right places! I love the ruffled hem and the hidden zipper up the side of the dress! I'll definitely be keeping this piece and couldn't wait to share it with you guys!!
Button Front Fit and Flare Dress:
You guys might have caught this one when I wore it to a recent blogging event and I can't tell you how many compliments I got! I am so impressed by the material and fit! I love the bow details on the puffed sleeves and the buttons up the front are functional. My only complaint is that the cups on the chest don't fit me perfectly but you can't tell with a padded bra. Such a great little dress for the price and can definitely be dressed up or down!
Side Slit Midi Dress & Pearl Trimmed Sandals:
I love this dress as well! It comes in a ton of colors and is so well made! I adore the unique hem that makes the dress feel super peachy and the functional tie at the waste to help find the perfect, most comfortable fit. The straps are adjustable and the fabric is light but not see through!
Y'all these sandals!! I can't get over how good they are! They are so stinking cute and actually VERY comfy/go with so many outfits! I took a gamble and ordered a 6.5 (normally wear 6.5 or 7 depending on the style) and they fit perfectly!!
Mauve Ruffle Trimmed Cami:
I just shared this one on my feed yesterday and can't tell you how many commented on my outfit! Little did they know that my shirt was only $19!! It comes in 4 other colorways and it's seriously so good, I want one in every color! I've paired it with so many different bottoms and love it with everything I've tried so far! Perfect for a day to nighttime look!
