6 Classic & Affordable Pieces for Fall

I've talked a lot recently about moving away from "fast fashion" and instead building a timeless wardrobe full of pieces I will want to wear year after year. To me, this means moving away from trends which come and go and really leaning into my personal style. Of course there are some things worth spending more on but building a classic wardrobe doesn't have to cost a fortune!

Yesterday I stopped into H&M and was so pleasantly surprised by their newest collection! I grabbed 6 pieces that I really loved and that I knew I could restyle a million different ways and wanted to share them all with you!

You guys know I have a serious love for chino style pants, specifically the two pair I bought on our honeymoon BUT I found these olive green ones and love the fix and fabric!! I tried both the 4 and the 6 and ended up getting the 4 for a more structured fit. I also snagged this striped button down which is perfect for warmer Fall days.

The cardigan was super soft and such a great closet staple color and perfect for a light layer. I also loved these faux croc loafers. I did buy the loafers but decided to take them back because I found some faux croc flats at Nordy's I've been saving for. A perfect example of spending a little extra on something you can style over and over but also you can almost always find a budget friendly option.

I so wanted to love this paper bag skirt but it just wasn't for me and my shape. I've been desperately searching for a linen mini skirt in this color, again something that could be worn year round and a million different ways! It was super cozy but just not ideal for my shape so I'll keep looking in the skirt department but this gorgeous hunter green sweater absolutely came home with me. I wish pictures did it justice!

Here's just another example of how easily you could mix and match these pieces! I threw on the sweater with my own jeans and the faux croc flats for a classic casual look. You can shop all of these pieces plus a few others I found that are online exclusives that I would love to try!
