Welcome back to the Love It List...this is a list I gather every few weeks of products and goods that I personally have purchased and find myself returning to time and again. The types of items vary each week in the hopes that I can introduce you to a few of my favorite things that I think you might love as well!

  1. Purito Daily Go-To Sunscreen: over the last year and a half or so, I have been slowly transitioning my skincare and makeup routines to the best, healthiest, and cleanest options I can find. Skincare and makeup BOTH should ALWAYS start with sun protection. Did you know that the US has some of the lowest testing measures for sun protection? It's honestly not surprising when you consider how many companies have had to recall their products in recent years. I was introduced to this particular product via an esthetician and skin care company founder I found on social media. Here's why it gets high marks from me: its a Japanese brand which means it has had to undergo further product safety testing than products made here in the US. It's SPF 50+ which is ideal for the sensitive and vulnerable facial skin....certainly the highest SPF I've found for a face sunscreen. It does NOT contains zinc and other harmful ingredients found in most US made sunscreens. It doesn't leave an oily finish and goes on great under makeup OR by itself....I will say, it isn't a matte finish so it does leave you with a glow but my face can still breathe after application (I have combination skin and have had no issues). Last but not least...it's $12!!! I suggest ordering at least 2 tubes at a time for that price as shipping does take a while BUT it's well worth it in my opinion and I have tried a good number of face sunscreens...trust I've done the legwork for you :)

  2. Ilia Super Serum Skin Tin foundation: As a primarily natural makeup kind of gal, this foundation provides the dewiest light to medium coverage while nourishing my skin AND providing an extra layer of SPF protection. This is another TRULY clean beauty switch {I did my research and have read through the ingredients} I made last year and have never looked back. The dropper applicator makes product distribution easy and the formula allows for various application methods whether you prefer using a brush, sponge, or your fingers. It builds well under other products or provides the perfect dewey finish when used on it's own but most of all I love the numerous color options. With their "in between" selections, Ilia has found a color for nearly every skin type...I personally wear the color Sombrio and it matches my complexion perfectly!

  3. FlutterHabit Weightless no.3 strip lashes: if you follow me over on Instagram then you know I've been wearing FlutterHabit lashes for years now....after quitting my lash extensions after we got married because it was just too expensive and truthfully ruined my already stubby lashes, I was introduced to FlutterHabit and fell in LOVE. If you don't yet know, FlutterHabit lashes are segmented strip lashes that last for 5 days after application (yes, including face washing and showers)! They're $30-$35 for a box of 6 lash sets (a month+ worth!) making they crazy affordable and the amount of compliments I've received over the years or people asking if they're my real lashes tells you how great of a product they are! Until recently I have exclusively worn the Originals but they recently launched their latest collection, the Weightless Collection and once again, I'm hooked. They truly are WEIGHTLESS thanks to the hollow core technology and have an almost wispy look making the even more natural looking but have a bit more curl than the Originals I usually wear. If you're new to lash extensions or even just FH, please note that there is a bit of a learning curve BUT a little practice and you'll get the hang of not only how to apply but how to customize the strips for your eye shape...I personally have smaller features and so I only wear 3 of the 4 segments for each eye. Just know you can ditch your mascara and for around the same price, get yourself some incredible, fuss free lashes...do with that knowledge what you will ;)

  4. Aerie cozy shorts: it's not often you'll catch me in comfy cozies outside the house BUT if I need to run a quick errand, I'm always looking for something I can wear and be comfy at home in but am not embarrassed to wear out and about and these check that box. They have a tulip leg whole providing a little more length in the front and back than your typical lounge short but have a cute cut out on the sides for a little extra something. I also love the deep pockets and the drawstring free elastic waistband. I've typed these a few times with crew socks, a graphic tee and sneakers with some basic gold jewelry and felt pulled together just enough to go from WFH to out and about without skipping a beat or feeling like I have to change. They also come in a bunch of fun colors and run true to size.

  5. Aerie bralette: in all transparency, I can't remember the last time I wore a real bra. I am a leading member of the itty bitty titty committee and I take FULL advantage of it...in other words I live in barrettes BUT I have one complaint, barrettes are meant to to basic which means cute or sexy ones are a hard find. Not anymore! I ordered this one a couple weeks ago because I loved the metal ring detail as just a little something extra and have worn it NON STOP! It makes my boobs look amazing (be honest ladies, we love a bra that does that) but is just as comfortable, supportive, and versatile to wear everyday. I also love that straps are true spaghetti straps vs a halter or racerback style and the v neck is perfect for lower necklines. This also comes in both basic and a couple of fun colors for my fellow bralette lovers looking to add a little spice to your undergarment drawer without sacrificing comfort. I have the white but love this fun green shade as well!
