Really Good Basics

This time of year I find myself leaning on my love of neutrals and REALLY good basics. The thing about really good basics is that they can be hard to find. More times than not, you either sacrifice fit and function for price or vise versa. For me personally, a great basic is something you can style countless ways and is a piece you find yourself reaching for time and again! Today I'm sharing a company that prides their entire brand on really great pieces. I recently got to try Liverpool Los Angeles after hearing amazing reviews from some friends. Liverpool is probably best known for their jeans but they focus on fit, comfort, and value for all their pieces and it shows. Today, I'm sharing three classic basics from Liverpool that can be styled together or separately with just about anything you have in your closet!

1. Stevie High Rise Stovepipe Crosshatch jeans - it's no secret that I'm a fan of a button fly and a crop jean but these ones hit all the marks. Liverpool's primary focus is on an incredibly comfortable fit for all body types and it shows in these jeans! I know we all roll our eyes when someone says that any pair of jeans could feel like sweats but these come pretty darn close. The raw hem gives them a modern feel, perfect for day to night styling and the kick flare pant leg gives such a fun shape and is a great option this time of year as the weather starts to warm up.

2. Sleeveless Scoop Neck Knit Tank - I love everything about this tank. One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to basics, especially tanks and tees is the quality and this one certainly does NOT lack quality. It lays beautifully and has lots of stretch perfect for any activity. I wore it with jeans during the day and then with joggers to sleep in at night and truthfully didn't want to take it off because of how soft it is. The cut is also incredibly flattering and paired with a blazer or cardigan, is modest enough to be worn professionally in the warmer months but also sleek enough to be paired with jeans and pumps for drinks with the girls!

3. Boyfriend Blazer Super Stretch Ponte - I am VERY picky about blazers. So often blazers can make a woman look or feel boxy and stiff but I am a BIG fan of a well fitting boyfriend blazer that hits all the right places and this one does. The best part though is the super stretch ponte material allowing for all sorts of movement without blowing out the sleeves or causing wrinkles. This will be the perfect addition to my work wardrobe when I'm looking for a little more structure without having to sacrifice comfort!

I want to thank Liverpool Los Angeles for sending me these pieces and allowing me to share my honest opinion with you all! I'm really looking froward to incorporating these new pieces into my everyday wardrobe.
